Privacy Policy
Page Monitor is operated by Lei, an individual. This page explains, in plain language, what information we collect, what we never collect, and what we do with it. If anything here is unclear, email us at lformater1@gmail.com.
1. What we collect
To run the service we collect only three things:
- Your email address — so we can send you alerts and your monthly record, and reply to you.
- The list of public pages you ask us to watch — the URLs you send us when you sign up.
- The monitoring results for those pages — what each page looked like when we checked it, and what changed.
2. What we never collect
We do not collect passwords, login credentials, or private pages. We only watch public pages that anyone can read without logging in, so there is nothing of that kind for us to collect. Please do not send us passwords or private links — if you do, we will delete them and ask you to send only public page addresses instead.
3. How we use your information
We use your information only to run the monitoring service and to send you alerts and your monthly record. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not use it to contact you about anything unrelated to your subscription unless you ask us to.
4. Trial data: kept for 30 days, then deleted
If you try the service for 7 days and do not continue with a paid subscription, your trial data — the snapshots of the pages we watched for you and the monitoring records from your trial — is kept for 30 days after your trial ends, then deleted. We keep it for those 30 days only so that you can still pick up where you left off if you decide to continue within that time.
5. Who we share data with
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes. We share data only with the providers we need to run the service:
- Paddle, our payment processor, receives the payment details needed to take your payment. Paddle acts as the merchant of record for your subscription.
- PayPal, our other payment processor, receives the payment details needed to take your payment if you choose to pay with PayPal.
- Google Drive, our delivery provider, is used to share your monthly record files with you.
6. Your data requests
You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email lformater1@gmail.com and we will handle your request.
