Terms of Service
Page Monitor (the “Service”) is operated by Lei, an individual trading as a sole proprietor under the brand name “Page Monitor”. Contact: lformater1@gmail.com. By starting a free trial or a paid subscription, you agree to these terms. If anything here is unclear, email us and we will explain it.
1. What the service does
We watch 15–25 public web pages of your choice, checked every day. When a page changes in a way that matters, we send you an email alert that explains the change in plain English. Once a month we send you a dated record of everything we checked and everything that changed. We only watch public pages that anyone can read without logging in.
2. Pricing and the free trial
The first 7 days are a free trial. We do not collect a card or any other payment method during the trial, so there is nothing to charge. After the trial, the service costs $29 per month, billed monthly. If you do nothing when the trial ends, the trial simply ends and you are never charged. Your trial data is kept for 30 days after the trial ends, then deleted.
3. What you send us, and what you must not send us
To start, you send us the list of 15–25 public pages you want watched, and a short note about what matters to you. You must not send us passwords, login credentials, or pages that need a login. We do not watch pages that need a login, and we do not accept private pages. If you send us a password or a private link by mistake, we will delete it and ask you to send only public page addresses instead.
4. Refunds and cancellation
Our refund terms are set out in full in our Refund Policy. In short: if something goes wrong in your first paid month — we stop checking your pages for more than 48 hours and cannot fix it, our alerts keep missing real changes or keep flagging layout noise as real changes and we cannot fix it within 48 hours, or you were charged twice — you can ask for a full refund of that $29 within 7 days of the payment. Simply changing your mind does not qualify, because you already had a free 7-day trial to see the service before paying. Renewal months are not refundable once charged, except for duplicate charges or if we stop monitoring for more than 72 hours without fixing it. You can cancel at any time by emailing lformater1@gmail.com; once you cancel, you will not be charged for the next month.
5. What we do with your information
How we collect, use, and share your information is set out in our Privacy Policy. In short: we collect only your email address, your list of public pages, and the monitoring results. We never collect passwords or private pages. We share data only with the providers we need to run the service (our payment processors and Google Drive, which we use to share your monthly record files).
6. Availability and limits
We check your pages every day, but we cannot promise that every check will always succeed. A page may be temporarily down, or its owner may block automated checks. If we cannot reach a page, we will keep trying on the next scheduled check. We do not control the pages you ask us to watch, and we are not responsible for changes their owners make, or for a page becoming unavailable.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a change that affects your subscription, we will email you at the address you signed up with before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
